How It Works

See below our guide on what to expect during the rehoming process

When you find an animal you are interested in rehoming

Please either fill out the application form by following the link on the rehoming page of the animal, or contact us directly first if you have any further questions.

Once you have submitted an application

We will contact you to let you know if we think you are a suitable match for your chosen animal, We will reply to you as soon as we possibly can. Please keep in mind we are very busy and may take a couple of days to get back to you.

If we feel you may be the right match for each other

We will invite you to have a video call with us over WhatsApp so we can conduct a pre home check, where you will have the opportunity to show us where you new pet will be living and show us you current set up ready for your new animal or if not already what you intend to buy in order to house your new pet, we can carry out a physical home check locally if you are unable to do this over video call.

We will then invite you to meet each other and spend time with your new pet so you can get to know each other and make sure you are both happy.

After your visit and home check

We advise you to take time to think about your decision and make sure you are happy and feel able to rehome your new pet and confident you can meet its required needs.

Once all the above has been completed

We will go through the rehoming paperwork with you, which includes your contract and 4 weeks free pet insurance (only applicable for rabbits and cats) advice and tips leaflet for you to take away on how to care for your pets. Please remember to register your new pet with a vet professional.

Please see our adoption fee requirement on the animals adoption page section
